the starboard side (single video)

the daze's first clip & single from their debut album 'olinda daze' is an aesthetic treat - filmed entirely on black and white super-8, shot & compiled by paul skelton ... this is a short snippet for those who haven't been lucky enough to catch it on RAGE!

itchy feet (studio doco / making of)

itchy feet (track no. 5 on 'olinda daze') was recorded live in the studio in early april, 2004. nick played piano and sang, joel bloom played lapsteel and rae howell played trumpet. after about 30 mins of rehearsal, they tried several takes. in all, five takes were recorded to analog 8-track, of which the fifth was the take chosen for the album. the footage that you are about to see is of the third take and was shot in one continual shoot. special thanks go out to paul skelton and colby hanks for their help on the day, and paul for compiling the video.
